DONATING TO ACAR – WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

You might be surprised to learn that, ultimately, it might be you who reaps some of the best rewards of your generosity.
It makes you feel better, and that's a benefit we all can enjoy.
You help those who need it.
You can write off donations on your tax return.
You create opportunities to meet new people.
You set a great example for your kids.
You also motivate friends and family.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.

GENERAL DONATION
We hope you will consider supporting any of ACAR's fund-raising efforts. Every donation, no matter the size, will assist in ACAR's work to provide our hands-on member rescues the ability to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Akitas who have been abandoned.

ACAR CHAMPIONS
Become an ACAR Champion! All donors who give $50 or more in one calendar year are named an ACAR Champion. Champions will be listed on the ACAR website and on the ACAR Facebook page. If you have already contributed through another method (matching campaign or ACA renewal), we will add you to the ACAR Champions list. If not, please consider including your payment below. Bronze - $100 to $499 Silver - $500 to $999 Gold - $1,000 or more.

PERPETUAL ENDOWMENT
You can now establish an endowment with ACAR. An endowment provides a means for you to offer a gift that is perpetual in nature. The gift will be placed in a fund and only the interest from the gift will be used for Akita rescue. You can name the endowment and provide specific instructions for how the interest from your gift is used. Interested in establishing an endowment? Please contact Ann Bavaria, ACAR president.

CAROL HARRIS AKITA RESCUE MEMORIAL FOR SENIORS
In December 2017, the Akita community suffered a major loss with the passing of Carol Harris. The painful loss of someone so special can be felt throughout a community. In her memory, the Carol Harris Akita Rescue Memorial for Seniors (CHARMS) was created. We are grateful to Keith Venezia for his generous donation establishing this fund for veteran Akitas in need. Through this memorial endowment, Carol's legacy will touch many Akitas in the future. If you're interested in contributing to this specific Akita need, please donate here.
